This is definately my favourite post of yours...Wow! This is definately my favourite post of yours so far! It's really interesting how - just because you didnt have a boyfriend, your mum just began to assume! I don't think anyone has ever thought of me as a lesbian but sometimes I get paranoid that maybe i'm sending out unconcious vibes to other people that i don't realize! I have a really interesting story about this awesome girl I met over in WA. She's heterosexual but she spent her teenage years until her mid twenties as a lesbian. The reason? Her mum was a die heart feminist lesbian and she was so invovled in the lesbian community that she just believed she was one. Then when she got to her mid twenties she discovered she really was attracted to boys moreso than girls and had to come out as heterosexual to her mum! It's like a complete reversal and she said her mum was a bit disappointed in her. So it really is a social construct. If we grew up viewing homosexuality as the norm, i guess you can get to the point when you are offended by heterosexuality! So it's definately society that sets up these stupid love laws!

Luv AmyLidiahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14196002055847914826noreply@blogger.com
